Custom tenders, burners, & live steam locomotive accessories in 1-1/2", 2-1/2" and 3-3/4” scale.


LocoParts manufactures custom tenders/kits, gas burners, silicon bronze lost wax castings and live steam locomotive valves and accessories in 1-1/2”, 2-1/2” and 3-3/4” scale.  All items are manufactured using the finest bar stock materials,  casings from red brass (hand pump) and stainless steel fasteners.  All items are provided as RFI (ready for installation) or as kits if noted.

Nipples

Brass nipples, specify close or long. 3/16"dia and 1/4" dia

Steam Valves
Globe and angle steam valve bodies are lost-wax silicon-bronze castings (super tough) hexes that are always on size, and bodies that look great!  Trim is stainless and brass.

Available in 3 sizes: 3/16, 1/4, 5/16"


Gas Burners
These manifolds are TIG welded and pressure tested against gas leaks.  The individual burners are rated at approximately 5400btu each.  All gas burners are custom made to suit the application. 

The gas jets only are available for $16.00

Large-scale Glass Assembly

Developed for the 2-1/2” and 3-3/4” scale engines but will be happy on any 1-1/2” scale Pacific, Hudson or Northern. 

Short model for smaller boilers

Same gauge glass assembly above except the glass is 1-1/2” long instead of 2-7/8” long.  The center-to-center distance between inlet and outlet is approximately 4”.
